Take your advanced practice nursing to the next level with Fisher’s online Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
Nurses who hold advanced practice specialization and currently practice as a nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, certified registered nurse anesthetist, or certified nurse midwife may apply to the DNP program.
If you completed your master’s level course work at Fisher since 2018, the program may be completed in five semesters. Applicants who completed their master’s coursework at Fisher before 2018 or completed their master’s coursework elsewhere may complete the program in eight semesters.
Fisher also offers a full-time, 36-month, in-person dual-degree AGACNP and CRNA program that is 103 credit hours.
In the DNP program, you will complete a minimum of 33 credit hours of coursework. If you have completed your master’s degree coursework at Fisher since 2018, up to five courses will count toward the credit-hour requirement.
“ Our DNP graduates are prepared to effect change and take on high-level roles in health systems, academia, and policy making, with the goal of improving health outcomes for individuals, communities, and the nation as a whole. ”
