Plutino-Calabrese Named Woman of the Year by the Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America Stella Plutino-Calabrese

10/22/2025 - The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSIA) honored Dr. Stella Plutino-Calabrese, director of global education and study abroad at 蜜桃影像, as Woman of the Year at their annual gala on Saturday, Oct. 18.

Fisher Feminist Alliance Engages in National Leadership Conference in D.C. Members for FFA at a conference in Washington, D.C.

10/20/2025 - The Fisher Feminist Alliance (FFA) took its mission of advocacy and education beyond the 蜜桃影像 campus this semester with a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend the National Young Feminist Leadership Conference, hosted by the Feminist Majority Foundation.

Sculpture Honors Parents for Sacrifices Leading to Transformative Education Titled, 鈥淧arents鈥� Sacrifice,鈥� the bronze sculpture sits adjacent to the newly renovated Lavery Library in the center of the LeChase Commons, in a beautifully landscaped spot that looks as though it has always been on campus.

10/17/2025 - Tom Bonadio’s mom, Rose, was born in Sicily, Italy, where she lived until she was two years old. Her parents decided to move to the United States and settle in Pennsylvania where her father worked in coal mines. Eventually, they moved to Rochester to find jobs in sewing factories. Bonadio's father, Frank, was raised in Rochester and his family owned Bonadio’s Grocery. He never graduated high school and served in WWII where he became a mechanic and learned how to fix planes.
