10/22/2025 - The Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America (OSIA) honored Dr. Stella Plutino-Calabrese, director of global education and study abroad at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, as Woman of the Year at their annual gala on Saturday, Oct. 18.
10/20/2025 - The Fisher Feminist Alliance (FFA) took its mission of advocacy and education beyond the ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ campus this semester with a trip to Washington, D.C., to attend the National Young Feminist Leadership Conference, hosted by the Feminist Majority Foundation.
10/17/2025 - Tom Bonadio’s mom, Rose, was born in Sicily, Italy, where she lived until she was two years old. Her parents decided to move to the United States and settle in Pennsylvania where her father worked in coal mines. Eventually, they moved to Rochester to find jobs in sewing factories. Bonadio's father, Frank, was raised in Rochester and his family owned Bonadio’s Grocery. He never graduated high school and served in WWII where he became a mechanic and learned how to fix planes.

10/15/2025 - This academic year, 65 new faculty and staff joined ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, teaching in classrooms, coaching student-athletes, and ensuring campus services remain vibrant and bustling.
10/14/2025 - ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ alumnus Edward Wurtz, Esq. ’72 will demystify the estate planning process during the November First Friday Lecture.
10/10/2025 - This month, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s Family Business Program will host Blossoms and Beverages, a networking event designed to build support and comradery among women working in family-owned firms.
10/10/2025 - During a special ceremony, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ honored 15 graduates who have achieved success in their careers and made significant contributions to their communities. The celebration recognized Dean’s Medal recipients from each of the five schools and graduates of the last decade with the Ten Under 10 Awards.
10/09/2025 - During a luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 9, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ recognized 70 employees for milestone years of service.
