06/25/2024 - This spring, 22 students and one faculty member in the School of Business were tapped to join ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society for AACSB-accredited schools representing the top five percent of business programs around the world.
06/19/2024 - Twenty ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students who are stakeholders in family firms took the course Family Business Management during the spring semester. The course provided the opportunity to attend the Family Business Program’s Successful Successions dinner, tour family firms including Gorbel Inc. and Rochester Colonial, and hear from several alumni who are family business leaders.
06/18/2024 - ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s undergraduate and graduate programs were selected as the top “reader favorites” in the Rochester Business Journal’s 2024 Reader Rankings Awards.
05/29/2024 - In April, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ alumna Adrianna Carfagna ’23, ’24 (MNA) was given an Outstanding College Student Award by the Rochester chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA).
05/12/2024 - Each year, ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ honors members of its graduating class who have achieved excellence in their academic studies and co-curricular pursuits.
05/11/2024 - The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ School of Business honored its bachelor’s and master’s degree graduates during a ceremony held on Saturday, May 11.
05/02/2024 - Ashley Henriquez-Mata, a student in the School of Business at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ, spent her junior year balancing her course workload with a new entrepreneurial venture: La Salvi, a restaurant she runs with her mother.
04/29/2024 - The Department of Media and Communication at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ has selected Ranya Alsalahi ’26 and Kessan VanGronigen ’25 as the 2024 recipients of the Jack Palvino Excellence in Communication Award.
04/24/2024 - ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ honored alumni with the Lifetime Achievement Award, Alumnus of the Year, and Rising Star Awards at the 34th annual Accounting Awards Celebration, held on Tuesday, April 23, at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
04/19/2024 - The ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ American Marketing Association (AMA) traveled with 19 undergraduate students with majors across the School of Business to compete in the 2024 AMA International Collegiate Conference (ICC) in New Orleans. SJF AMA returned with six awards and recognitions.
