11/28/2023 - In collaboration with The Ugandan Water Project (UWP), based in Lima, NY, students in the Media Relations community-engaged learning (CEL) course spent the fall semester applying course content in order to help promote a live music event happening this December.
11/22/2023 - ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ senior Gianna Giglio ’24 was recently awarded the 2024 Seward Scholarship, given by the Department of Media and Communication. The scholarship honors former faculty member Jim Seward and his 41 years of college teaching, over half of which were spent at Fisher.
11/20/2023 - Short films produced by ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ students will be screened during “An Evening of Documentary Films,” planned for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, in Basil 135.
11/17/2023 - Brandon Drexler ’24, a senior majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry, was selected as a recipient of the Alvin E. Heaps Scholarship Award, given by the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU).
11/14/2023 - On Friday, Nov. 3, the Rochester chapter of the Public Relations Society of America hosted the Northeast District Conference at ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ. Students in Professor Arien Rozelle’s media and public relations courses joined professionals from across six states at the sold-out conference.
11/01/2023 - Four ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ faculty members will share insights and summaries of their recently published books during Fresh Ink, scheduled to be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the lower level of Lavery Library.
10/25/2023 - ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ’s annual celebration of Philosophy Day will feature the talk, “The Dread of Tyrants: Frederick Douglass on the Right to Speak, Listen, and Learn.”
10/23/2023 - A faculty member and two students from ÃÛÌÒÓ°Ïñ were recently selected by the Council on Undergraduate Research to participate in a six-month collaborative research program.
